Social Media Posts for advertising Collaborative Game Night
Mechatronics Student Association (MSA) x The Programming Club (TPC)
This project was a fun one! One of the featured attractions of this game night was a 3D Printed Omnidirectional RC Car that was built by MSA. We used the 3D model of the car and positioned it on a 3D render of a Mario Kart track in Blender (Mario Kart being another featured game). We were on a big time crunch for this design and my old laptop was struggling with Blender so I took what I could get to Photoshop to create a more instagram viewer friendly post out of the rendered photos.

Here are the three trophy reveals we posted on our Discord and Social Media accounts, We themed these announcements after the Nintendo Super Smash Bros Fighter Reveals to keep with the Gamer Theme and Generate Hype for the event and our 3D printed trophies.

I added a transparent colour overlay in photoshop to make the text more readable and take some of the direct focus from what is a fairly busy background. I used a couple of Canva elements (Game Loading Bar and Font saying 'The Details') for a finishing touch. The font used here is GT Walsheim which is a brand staple for The Programming Club.
